We could have a few different groups of people and separate them in different lighted areas while they take our color poll. For example, we could have a group of 5 people outside in the natural sunlight taking our color poll; and we could have another group in a darkly lit room and another group in a fluorescent lit room and see if light plays a big roll in the effect of a color effecting the mood. We could also separate our groups into different genders and age groups. I would like to do a similar study as they did in my article. I am not sure of any other way we could get data other than polling people.
This relates to the article because my group members and I would probably do the same study these people did in the article, just simpler and smaller. Statistics is the type of math that would be involved in our study. There will be graphs showing how different colors invoke different emotions on our participants.
